GPACAC proudly offers annual scholarships to students attending high school in the three GPACAC membership states: Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma. The scholarships include the counselor nominated, student scholarship, and Paul Max service scholarship. Due date is February 15, 2021.

- **Counselor Nominated Scholarship ($1000 awarded to one Kansas student)
Be an active member of Great Plains Association for College Admission Counseling.
Only nominate one senior from their high school each year.
Submit a maximum of 400 word recommendation on why you have chosen to nominate this student for the GPACAC scholarship.
- **Student Scholarship ($1000 awarded to one Kansas student)
ACT Composite score of 21 or higher (or SAT equivalent)
Have a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
Complete the application and submit an essay (500 word maximum): Tell us three things that are important to you. How will these things remain important to you through college and beyond? - **Paul Max Service Scholarship ($1000 awarded to one student in the GPACAC region) Have a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 and above (or equivalent)
Have completed a minimum of 100 community service hours from freshman year to date of application.
Complete the application and answer the essay question (500 word maximum): Describe a specific community service experience. How did the experience affect you? How did it impact your leadership?

Through the National FFA Foundation, businesses and individuals support scholarships that are awarded to students with a wide variety of higher education plans and career goals. Whether you are planning on attending a specialized training program or seeking a four-year degree, the National FFA Scholarship Program has opportunities for all. Scholarships support FFA high school seniors and collegiate members as well as non-FFA members. Just one application is required for multiple scholarship opportunities totaling close to $2 million.

Two individuals will be chosen to receive $1,000 scholarships in the spring of 2020 from the Kansas Seed Industry Association. Selection will be made by the KSIA Scholarship Committee and will be based on criteria established by the Association.
Students applying for a KSIA scholarship must be seeking a degree in Agronomy, Ag Education, Ag Econ/Business, Ag Communications, Grain/Milling Science, Ag Technology, Ag Farm Management or Horticulture. Students must be planning to attend a college or university in Kansas. Both high school seniors and current college students may apply. Beyond those requirements, the recipients will be chosen from information and recommendations provided on the scholarship applications.
Applications are due in the KSIA office by 5 p.m. April 1, 2019.

Kansas Association of Plant Facility Directors (KADPF) is offering 16 scholarships this year valued at $2,000 each.
In order to qualify, a parent or guardian must work for an educational facility in Transportation, Food, Custodial, Grounds or Maintenance Services. There will be 12 Academic Awards and 4 Technical Awards.

The Office of the State Bank Commissioner, the Kansas Insurance Department, and its division, the Office of the Kansas Securities Commissioner are sponsoring an essay contest to award up to five scholarships to Kansas high school seniors who, through school course, independent study, and personal experience, have gained an understanding of money management and can demonstrate that knowledge and the importance it will have in their future.

The Wichita Community Foundation has assembled a variety of scholarships that are available to students. Each scholarship has various criteria, but there’s something there for everyone. Here is the link to access and apply:
https://wichitacf.org/scholarships/available-scholarships - 2020 KACRAO SCHOLARSHIP -https://www.kacrao.org/kacrao-scholarship Four $500 awards are available, which may be used at KACRAO member institutions (one per school type: four-year public, four-year private, community college, and technical college). The awards are not need-based and may be used in conjunction with other awards. To be eligible for consideration for these scholarships, students must: • Be in their senior year at a Kansas high school; • Have a cumulative seventh semester GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale; • Submit an application, which includes uploading a one-page essay, letter of reference, and resume. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is March 15, 2020. Successful award recipients will be notified in May and posted on the KACRAO website.
K-State Scholarship Network (KSN)
