Hiawatha USD 415 is partnering with JAG-K to offer an elective class that provides academic and other positive supports. By exploring career opportunities and practicing soft skills, students are prepared to successfully transition to post-secondary education, military service, or into the workforce following their graduation. SENIOR SALUTE Quinn Grooms is the son of Brandy Grooms and Kylle Grooms, and the stepson of Lester Gibson. After graduation he plans to enter the workforce while getting his decree in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and diesel mechanics.


SENIOR SALUTE Ayden Eccles is the son of Jessie Eccles and Dan Eccles. He plans to go to Colorado and get a degree in Culinary Arts. He describes his senior year as fun, wild, and surprising. His favorite HHS tradition is after Prom, "because we always have a great time."

SENIOR SALUTE Brandon Blanton is the nephew of Lisa & James Blanton, grandson of Frank & Margaret Blanton, and stepson of Zachary Wren. He plans to attend Highland Community College for auto body repair.


SENIOR SALUTE Andrew Lierz is the son of Rodney & Linda Lierz. He plans to attend Highland Community College and pursue a career in the Agricultural field. He will always remember the helpful office ladies who helped him throughout high school.


SENIOR SALUTE Arron Irwin is the son of Tracey & Julie Irwin. He plans to pursue a career in Law Enforcement. He will always remember Mrs. Davis because she was always pushing him to do better in his classes and never gave up on him. He is most proud of HHS's school spirit.


SENIOR SALUTE Nathan Stroud is the son of Brian & Debbie Stroud. His future plans are undecided. The school tradition he is most proud of is the drum line and the students lining the hallways before pep rallies "it would bring the students and teachers together for a short time."


SENIOR SALUTE Robert Benavidez is the son of Robert Benavidez & Angela Berry. After graduation, he will enter the workforce. He will always remember the pep club and how they got in the school spirit, "I loved when they did the chants."


SENIOR SALUTE Annaliese Jeschke is the daughter of Craig & Elizabeth Jeschke. She plans to attend Highland Community Technical College and major in Nursing. She will always remember not shutting her locker, coming back to find it empty and all of her things in Mr. Farnen's pod.


Any family with a child(ren) under the age of 5 (up to 58 month) living in USD 415 Hiawatha Schools is now available to receive FREE once a month books mailed directly to their home. Families can build a home library and increase opportunities for language and literacy building. SENIOR SALUTE Andrew Kreek is the son of Gary Kreek and Linda Scroggins. His future plans are undecided, but his desire to serve his country as a Marine has always been his dream. The HHS tradition Andrew is most proud of is the helmet salute after every football game.


SENIOR SALUTE Parker Winters is the son of Jeffery & Dana Winters. He plans to major in Finance and Marketing at KU. He described his senior year as fun, memorable, and unexpected. Parker's favorite HHS tradition is Community Day.


SENIOR SALUTE Kade Tollefson is the son of Jason & Niki Tollefson. He plans to attend KSU, majoring in Ag Tech Management. The HHS tradition he is most proud of is dodgeball, 'it was the most fun because it developed a fun competition between the classes'.
