Hiawatha USD 415 families have the opportunity to pick up meals at a designated site during district remote learning. Parents/Guardians will be required to order meals by 10:00 AM Monday November 16th. Please fill out ONE form for EACH student that will be receiving meals.
You will pick up your meals up at the location of your choice Tuesday November 17th 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

At last night’s special board meeting the USD 415 Board of Education voted to begin remote learning for all USD 415 students beginning Monday November 16th. At this time the plan is to return to on site learning Thursday December 3rd.

There will be a Special Board Meeting tonight at 6:00 PM on Zoom. It will be broadcast on YouTube.

HMS STUCO members will be doing a a movie/slide show presentation that will be put on the USD 415 Facebook page and website for Veterans Day. We are asking you to submit any photos you have or take a photo of you and your loved one who has either served or are currently serving in the armed forces, and e-mail it to Isabelle Arellano at 27087are@usd415.org or Gavin Noll at 25058nol@usd415.org by next Monday, November 9.

Reminder: USD 415 is requiring students & staff to wear masks. Requirements of masks include:
■ Face coverings must fit snugly (but comfortably) against your face
■ Face coverings must cover the nose and mouth, extend below the
chin and secure around the face.
■ Face coverings must be secured with ties, ear loops, or securely held
in place so not to slip (consider what is easiest for your student)
■ Face coverings must allow for breathing without restriction
■ Face coverings must be washable or disposable without damage or
shape change
■ Face coverings should have the student's name/initials on it.
■ Multiple layers of fabric is encouraged.
■ All masks must follow building dress code (No prohibited symbols,
violence promotion, drug/alcohol promotion or symbols, no bandanas,
etc.).
It may also be helpful to place one or two extra masks in a bag, in your childs backpack. This will help ensure they have one for the day, as well as having a replacement if needed throughout the day.
