Senior Braydon Griswold was recently selected to participate in the All- American Offense/Defense Bowl Game in Inglewood, CA over the Christmas break. Braydon was selected as one of 98 seniors across the US to participate in the game. Practice began December 26, lasted approximately 5 hours a day, culminating with the bowl game on the 29th. The game was played at SoFi Stadium (Home of the LA Chargers and Rams) All American Offense/Defense hold camps throughout the United States and players are normally selected from those camps. Other players, Braydon included, were nominated by a college coach or recruited by their own scouts. If a player is nominated their film is studied by the Offense/Defense scouts to see if they qualify for the bowl game. Over 400 NFL players have participated in the All American Bowl Game and statistics show that 52% of the players who participate will end up in the league. During the week Braydon was introduced to other players and met coaches from all over the United States. Senior teams were split into 4 teams according to positions. Braydon played on the SSC2 (Senior Show Case 2) team and they won over SSC3 with a score of 25-8. What an exciting honor for Braydon!
