If you are interested or have a student interested in joining Concert Choir or Headliners for the 2023-24 school year, auditions will be held April 17th-21st. Audition sign ups are posted on Mr. May's door at the high school and on the music room door at the middle school. Auditions are open to all high school students as well as incoming freshman. Route Drivers, Activity Drivers and Subs Needed: . We need sports and field trip drivers. If you are going to the games anyway then you could get paid to go, get into the games free (home games too) and get paid while you are there. . We also need substitute drivers for our bus routes. . A Class B or A CDL with School Bus & Passenger endorsements is required. All training is provided and paid for by USD 415. . Starting pay is $20/hour for drive time and $10/hour for layover/sit time. . HHS Work Based Learning Spotlight: Emma Entrikin My name is Emma Entrikin and I do my work based learning at Little Hands! I work in the 2 year old room with Miss Allie, and I absolutely love doing it! During my observations I get to watch and help the kids learn and try new things. There's never a dull moment when you're in there and you learn new things everyday. I enjoy getting to know the kids and help them achieve goals as they grow and explore different things to further their knowledge in their everyday lives. My tasks can range from helping a child brush their teeth to just simply reading them a book on the floor or comforting them for nap time. I love working with kids and would love to be a teacher upon graduation! I believe doing this work based learning has helped me understand kids more, how they learn, and what their day to day life looks like.
