Dear Parents,
USD 415 and Hiawatha High School have been made aware of a matter pertaining to school safety. We now know of a Tik-Tok trend across the nation of a generalized threat of violence against all schools in the United States. Like all suspicious activity, this situation has been fully investigated and no threat has been made against our schools. Still, we will continue to take extra precaution. You can expect to see extra law enforcement presence in our facilities. Beyond that, we anticipate a quiet and successful end of the semester in the coming days. You can help by taking this opportunity to talk with your student. Please share the seriousness and resulting consequences of any threat made to schools or students.
