Wednesday, December 7, 2005 was HES Fourth Grade Government Day! The students spent the month of November studying and researching the history of the United States government and the symbols used to represent famous people and ideas. Each student wrote a paper and then in a team of three, made projects that showed the symbol or building that they had written about. On the afternoon of December 7, parents, grandparents, and the third grade students were invited to come to the library and listen to the papers being read and questions answered. The afternoon was very busy and lots of fun!
