This scholarship provides financial assistance to full-time students who enroll in designated one or two-year vocational programs at various Kansas area tech schools/colleges, community colleges, KSU-Salina, several four-year colleges, and proprietary schools.
Applicants must be Kansas residents, a graduate from an accredited high school (or received a GED), enroll full time (12 credit hours) in a designated vocational program in Kansas, and take the designated vocational scholarship test which is given twice per year. This year’s testing dates are October 15, 2009 and February 19, 2010. (The closest testing sites to Hiawatha will be Atchison, Topeka, and Manhattan.)
Registration and testing for this Program is processed by the Testing Center at KSU; a $10.00 exam fee is necessary by the deadline, and students ARE encouraged to take the exam in October.
