Fourth Grade DRA!

These students are HES fourth graders taking the new Developmental Reading Assessment ( DRA). This assessment will help teachers diagnose student strengths and weaknesses and plan individualized instruction based on this data, preparing each child to be more successful. DRA supports ongoing instruction so that all learners become proficient and independent readers. The elementary teachers were trained for this program and are now in the process of administering the assessments to all students grades K-4. The results will be shared with parents at the fall conferences.
