I am the Physical Education Teacher at the Hiawatha Elementary School. I also coach Track at the Hiawatha High School. My wife, Cathy and I moved to Hiawatha in the all of 1979. Over the past 30+ years I have also coached football(high school and middle school) and girls basketball. We have two children--Ryan, who is a band instructor and Carissa who is a graduate student in Social Work at the University of Kansas.
I grew up in Iowa and attended Buena Vista University in Storm Lake. In 1985 I received my Master's Degree from Emporia State University.
My hobbies and interests include community service through the Lions Club, watching sporting events, and church involvement.
