Hiawatha Schools, USD 415

Hello,  

My name is Andy Runer and I am a fourth grade teacher at Hiawatha Elementary.  I graduated from Pittsburg State University in 2004 with a B.S. in Technology.  After moving to Hiawatha and discovering a love for education through a great deal of subsitute teaching; I decided to attend Missouri Western State University and gain a B.S. in Elementary Education.  My hometown is Erie, Kansas, but I would like to think of Hiawatha as my new hometown.  My son, Logan and I enjoy all of the year-round activities/festivities that Hiawatha has to offer and look forward to many more years of being involved; not only in the school, but also in the community.
