Gary Kraus - Industrial Technology

Gary Kraus is serving as the interim Industrial Technology instructor during the 2008-09 school year. He is currently in is 21st year as an educator. Gary most recently served for eight years in the Pike Valley School District in Scandia, KS. He has a wide variety of experiences in education that include classroom instruction, technology and network administration, lead teacher and administrative duties in the areas of athletics, school improvement and accreditation, and vocational programs.
Gary graduated from Alma (KS) High School in 1974. After 10 years in the general labor force, Gary returned to school and received a BS from Fort Hays State University in 1988 and a Master’s from Wichita State University in 1998. He is married and has two sons - Nick and Josh and one grandson - Trenton. His family continues to live in Scandia where his wife Theresa teaches middle school math.
