Mr. Karl Kliewer teaches Mathematics (Calculus, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, College Algebra and Geometry) at Hiawatha High School. He began teaching at HHS in 2000. Mr. Kliewer’s education includes a bachelor’s degree from Tabor College and a master’s of education degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University. His family includes his wife Kathy and four children ranging (Math term!) from age 10 to 22. (Average age of Children – 17.25 years – More Math!)
In addition to teaching, Mr. Kliewer also serves as assistant Boys’ Basketball Coach at Hiawatha High School, teaches adjunct courses for Highland Community College and officiates HS Volleyball during the fall season.
