Kindergarten students get an up close visit with a miniature donkey as part of their Farm Day activities. Other animals on hand for the event were ducks, goats, dairy calves, chickens and a miniature horse. .

Farm Day consisted of wight stations where students were students learned about a specific farm animal or aspect of the farm such as equipment and crops. Local farmers volunteered to share their animals and expertise with the kindergarten students to gain real life experiences with concepts that they are learning in class.
