Music Students Earn I Rating At State Large Ensemble

On Thursday, April 17th, the Hiawatha Concert Band and Concert Choir performed for State Large Ensemble at Holton High School. Many area schools performed at this festival for ratings. The rating system is based on a I-V Rating; I Rating = Superior, II Rating = Excellent, III Rating = Average, IV Rating = Poor and a V Rating = Ineffective. Both performing groups received a I Superior rating. This is a wonderful accomplishment for the music department. Mrs. Kleopfer and Mr. Johnson are very proud of all the music students that participated in this effort.
