Prom

The idea of prom is a wonderful thing! It gives juniors and seniors a way to kick the year off with a bang. Prom is a symbol that the student is graduating soon and it is a special moment for all of us. Preparation for prom can start at any time even your freshman year. Everyone gets into the mood for prom and it’s a wonderful time with many events happening all at once!
When a student prepares for prom it is a hard task, both for men and women. Men get their tuxes and flowers, and women get their dresses and corsages from their men. Just getting to prom is a great experience. Driving up to the high school in your car and you out to see a bunch of people taking pictures, you walk on the path to the high school and are greeted by the principal.
Inside you find lots of decorations and tables to sit down at to eat. At the table there are cards telling you about events and what is to eat, also something to represent the theme of the prom. Most of the time it’s an item you can take home. The theme of the prom is a big part of prom but it’s mostly up to the juniors to choose.
After you are done eating you leave to the Fisher Center for the Dance. Mostly you dance, eat, and take pictures with your friends and date. After the dance you go back to the high school for the after prom stuff which is awesome I have to say! It can be anything from games to events to drawings. Everyone remembers the after prom events.
