Mr.Johnson prepares the band for the band trip.

High School Band Trip

This year the Hiawatha Marching band will be traveling to Chicago for the St. Patrick’s Day parade. The band will be playing “Livin’ on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi and “Stand Up and Cheer” the school’s fight song. This parade is nationally known as the largest St. Patrick’s Day parade. Mrs. Dunn’s 1B English class is reading the play A Raisin in the Sun. It is a wonderful play by Lorraine Hansberry.  It first premiered on Broadway in 1959.
