Ann Ellen has taught in the Hiawatha Elementary School for over 30 years. She began her teaching career in the fourth grade. After 20 years, she transferred to the second grade. Ann Ellen graduated from Kansas State University with an area of concentration in French in May of 1977. Prior to that time, Ann Ellen had lived her entire life on the family farm northeast of Hiawatha graduating from Hiawatha High School. Ann Ellen has a daughter who has also graduated from KSU with a degree in Life Span and Human Development. She is currently a registered nurse.
