Mrs. Boggs began her teaching career at Concordia High School following graduation from Emporia State University in 1972. She came to Hiawatha High School the fall of 1977. She has enjoyed the challenge of building a strong Business/Computer department. She has also helped sponsor KAYS, Scholar's Bowl, cheerleaders & Pep Club, and Business Professionals of America. She has enjoyed many trips with her BPA students, including Reno in May, 2008.
She has seen many changes at HHS with the addition of computers and other technology in the Business world. She has worked with the community since 1997 in the Business Department's On-the-Job Training program. Students spend a minimum of six hours a week working in an office, gaining many work skills that we can't teach in the classroom.
She married Ron Boggs in 1992 and has enjoyed helping to raise his three children. Carol really enjoys being a grandmother to Tristan and Owen. In her spare time she takes lots of pictures, travels, and quilts.
