Rick Prochaska

Mr. Prochaska is in his 22nd year at Hiawatha High School. Previously he taught and coached at Perry-Lecompton, Miltonvale, and Pratt High Schools. His bachelor degree is in business education and he has a master degree in educational administration. Over the past several years, Mr. Prochaska has worked as a computer technician for the Hiawatha school district. This past year, he received a twelve month contract with three-tenths being a teaching contract and seven-tenths being a computer technician contract. He stays extremely busy with his computer work. Rick is married and has three grown children; Doug, in Mission, KS, Mandi, in Manhattan, KS, and Thomas in St. Joseph, MO. His wife Janet is the librarian at Falls City Sacred Heart School.
