STUDENTS MUST use the crosswalks on the street outside the school. It is also
VERY DANGEROUS to dart between the buses and cross the street. Parents, please
remind your students to use them. Please remember the only students who are to be riding the buses are regular route riders.
To assist parents picking up students at dismissal time (3:30pm), Grades 7 and 8 will leave through the main front doors.
Grade 5 students will exit the north entrance (by the Art Room).
Grade 6 students will exit the east entrance (by the Library).
This will hopefully help you all plan your pick-up areas in the parking lot!
Please be mindful of all our students who will be meeting up with their rides in the parking lot.
Be sure to pull into a parking stall, insuring that your vehicle isn't stopped/idling/moving along in the driving lanes between the parked cars.
Please be reminded that ONLY BUSES will be parking on the street directly west of the school building (Morrill Ave.).
Bicycles, etc.: If your student rides a bike or a scooter or a skateboard...anything on wheels… Please remind them they must WALK their ‘wheels’ onto school property. They are to ride up to the point school property STARTS, get off at the crosswalk, and WALK it to the building. When school is dismissed, they are to WALK it until they are off school property - past the crosswalk. We are reminding them all to be especially conscious of the vehicles moving around before school and at dismissal.
