PARENT REMINDERS:
- All parents or guests coming into the building must park in the parking lot and not on the circle drive in front of the building. This includes in the morning or after school coming in with students for any reason. Cars left on the circle drive block the traffic flow of buses and cars coming first thing and after school each day.
- Please call by 9:00 a.m. if your student is sick or absent for any reason.
- Please call by9:00 a.m. if you ever want to eat with your student during lunch time.
- Please call by 2:00 p.m. if plans have changed for your student(s) after school.
- 3rd & 4th Grade students (along with younger siblings) should be picked up in the north parking lot to alleviate problems with parking and buses in the front of the building at the end of the day.
HES PTA IS NOW ON FACEBOOK! – On Facebook they are listed as Hiawatha Elementary School PTA.
BREAKFAST CLUB ON TUESDAY MORNINGS STARTING AT 8:00 A.M.
LAND OF LAKES MILK & JUICE LIDS
- HES is saving milk and juice lids with the 5 cents on the top of the lid – they are on the gallon jugs of Land of Lakes milk and juice. Please send them with your students or drop them by the office any time.
THRIFTWAY RECEIPTS
- The HES PTA will be collecting Thriftway Receipts that are dated from September 1, 2011 through March 30, 2012. The program called Apples for Education will help buy new equipment and educational materials for the school.

- Valentine parties for all classes from 2:00-3:00 p.m.
FEBRUARY 16
- Carnival sign-up sheets due to HES.
- HES Site Council at 5:15 p.m. in library.
- HES PTA at 6:15 p.m. in library.
FEBRUARY 20
- No School – President’s Day
FEBRUARY 21
- No School – Conferences.
- Parent Teacher Conferences will be held at the following times on Tuesday, February 21, 2012.
HES - 1:00 - 4:00 & 5:00 - 8:00
HMS & HHS - 8:00 - 11:00 & 12:00 - 3:00
MARCH 30
- Elementary School Carnival from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Middle School.
