Biographical Information
My name is Heather Maze. I am teaching 3rd and 4th Grade Special Education at Hiawatha Elementary School. I am a graduate of Holton High School. I went on to earn my Associate of Arts Degree from Highland Community College in 2000. Later received my Elementary Education Degree from Kansas State University in 2002. Before coming to Hiawatha, I taught 1st and 2nd Grade at Kickapoo Nation School for two years. Upon my tenure at Kickapoo Nation School I decided to begin working towards my Masters Degree in Special Education through Emporia State University. I will be completing that this following Spring. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my two daughters and my husband, Nathan. I also enjoy being outdoors, music, and gardening. I am excited and ready for a great year!
