Hiawatha Middle School -Special Visitors

Mrs. Vitt had two very special dogs attend her classes on January 6th. Before the start of each class, Jake and Toots would sit at the classroom door waiting very politely for students who were passing between classes to stop and say hello. In the classroom, Jake and Toots were perfect listeners and enjoyed hearing students read out loud. They were friendly, patient, gentle, and instilled a calming atmosphere in the classroom.
