Hiawatha Halloween Queen Scholarship Contest Applications Due!

Senior Girls: If you would like to compete to be Hiawatha High School's candidate in the Halloween Queen Scholarship Contest, pick up an Applicant Packet in the Counseling Office ASAP! They are DUE BACK to the Counseling Office NO LATER than 4pm on September 15th! To compete, candidates must have at least a 3.5 GPA, be an active participant and/or leader in both school and the community, and be available on contest day Saturday October 30, 2010 for the competition, parade, festivities, etc.
The winner will receive a $500 scholarship to the college of their choice. The 1st Runner Up will receive a $250 scholarship. There will also be an opportunity to win a $150 scholarship.
