K-State Important Dates to Remember

1. |
Apply for admissions at http://consider.k-state.edu/apply. You can apply the summer after your junior year or ASAP your senior year. It costs $30.00 |
|
2. |
Apply for scholarships; this can be done at the same time you submit your admissions app OR it is online at http://www.k-state.edu/sfa/scholarships. PRIORITY DATE for applications is November 1 of your senior year. |

3. |
Send in your official high school transcript after applying. Your school can mail OR fax the transcript. **NEW: If you are applying for scholarships, your transcript must include six-semester grades AND your senior year class schedule! |
|
4. |
AFTER ADMISSION: Set up your KSU eID to access your email and student info. Go to http://eid.k-state.edu. You will need your Wildcat ID number, which was listed on your admittance letter. |
|
5. |
Complete your housing app. Apply online at http://housing.k-state.edu. This is a separate $30 fee. |
|
6. |
OCTOBER: Take the ACT. See the info on our Hiawatha web site for the dates. KSU’s college code number is 1428. |
|

NOVEMBER 15, 2010 is K-State Junior Day! |

DECEMBER: Complete your housing contract/roommate profile. You will get housing contracts AFTER Dec. 1 for those who did the app. Assignments are first come, first served, so fill out the contract and profile online and pay the $400 housing deposit ASAP to reserve your residence hall spot.
