Art class is by far the best class of all at Hiawatha High! Art is probably the best career in the world that has plenty of jobs for anyone artistic. The only true way to express yourself is through clothes, paintings, drawings, and music which all fall under the category of art.
“I liked it when we weren’t told what to build and got to do what we wanted” says Caleb Runhke.
The only class that brings creativity and not the fear of a mistake is Art. It is a fact that most creativity develops in alone time or in the art room. The things students are learning in Art class are different techniques, how to paint better, improving artistic self, learning not to care about a mistake, and turning the mistake into a beautiful picture. This semester they are learning how to make canvas, work on their painting skills, and how to put creativity in it at the same time.
“It is amazing!”, says Sebastian Perry.
Art Class is thee most independent class any student can take at HHS! There is not a lot of homework, and students work in an outgoing atmosphere. Many students see the benefits of something so fun and not serious at the same time.
