Have you ever wanted to make your own webpage saying whatever you want? Well if so, and if you possess basic computer skills then you should take the Webpage Design course at HHS ! This class is hands-on where you design your own webpages from scratch.
So far students are experimenting with HTML webpage design, this is a slow old fashioned approach at designing a webpage. It is a more time consuming and complicated process but more beneficial to the learning aspect of it. The responses among the students were mixed.
One student, Ben Brown said “This is difficult!”.
Another student Wyatt Torkelson disagreed with Brown by saying “It’s not that bad!”
The process of the HTML coding consists of typing countless amounts of codes into note pad and then reopening them on an Internet browser. The class will also be using other forms to make websites to show the differences in skill needed to make web pages different ways.
For students that are not patient or are computer inept, this is probably not for them. It is a long process requiring someone who has patience and computer skills. For many students at HHS designing your own webpage from scratch is worth it.
