In Advanced PE, a course taught by instructor Amy Bearce, students are doing a Three on Three Basketball tournament. The group of Caleb Grier, Cameron Leupold and Lorenzo Mendez have only lost one game and the group of Chavis Nioce and Avery Steward are undefeated. Every day in Advanced PE, students do exercises which consist of a simple jog, high knees, seat kicks, and a couple of other things. Then they do stretches, and then a fifteen minute run which can get the blood and sweat pumping. While participating in tournaments, there are some very competitive athletes contending like Chavis Nioce, Zach Hrencher, Cameron Leupold, Caleb Grier, Lorenzo Mendez, Avery Steward, and Mikey Costa, and Marc Washington.
In Advanced PE, there are other many games like Mat Ball, Wiffle Ball, Elimination, and Octopus Tag. Soon the class is going to be playing wiffle ball. Then to the bowling alley to bowl on Friday.
Lorenzo Mendez said “The games in Advanced PE are really fun, and I have a lot of fun with my classmates.
Advanced PE can be a fun class for students who get into the games and have fun. Some students always say “Expect the Unexpected” because when the students are participating, they can surprise you at times. When the students are in class they really get into the games, and really get competitive, and everyone likes a good competition.
Chance Johansen who is also in 2A Advanced PE said “ The class is really fun and the games are fun, but the only problem I have with the class is when you get people in the class you don’t like.”
