Art and Its Purpose

What would the world be like without art? What could be looked at that doesn’t consist of art? Art is one of the most beautiful things in life. You can create different portraits and pictures. If they didn’t have art classes at school, the kids that have the talent of drawing, sculpting, and painting wouldn’t get to do much of that at school.
Painting and Drawing class at Hiawatha High School is quite interesting. The students build a canvas or two and draw different types of pictures on them. Once they are done drawing they then paint over it with the colors wanted. Some people even do six foot tall canvases! They also do realistic drawings of people and animals.
Some students in Hiawatha KS doubt that they can draw and want to learn. They could not do this if Art classes didn’t exist at school. Look at how many careers revolve around art. It’s ridiculously crazy! It's even surprising some of the things that involve art. Art is one of the most favored hobbies in the world and students at HHS are very fortunate to have the opportunity to take the many classes offered in the Art department.
