Kansas Agribusiness Retailers Assn. Scholarship

Several scholarships are included here.  Please read the entire posting for information concerning them all.

 

The Kansas Agribusiness Retailers Assn. will award these scholarships on the basis of merit to any high school or current undergrad student:

 

1 - $500 Jim Lee Memorial Agribusiness/Agronomy Scholarship and 3 - $1,000 Agribusiness/Agronomy Scholarships

 Eligibility for these scholarships:  Award may be to any high school student planning to major in, or current undergrad student majoring in, agronomy, crop science, ag engineering, professional ag-chemical application or a related field of study.  These scholarships are available to students planning to attend or are currently enrolled at any university, junior college, community college or tech school in KS.  This is a one-time scholarship but winners may re-apply for the scholarship after the first year.  Applicants should be self-starters, have a good academic standing, be good school and community citizens and have a strong desire to continue their education.

 

1 - $1,000 Dr. David Whitney Agronomy Scholarship

 Eligibility for this scholarship is for any undergrad student majoring in agronomy at KSU who will be a JUNIOR or SENIOR in the 2010-2011 school year.
