I am a social science teacher at Hiawatha High School. I graduated from Marysville High School in 2002 and Kansas State University in 2006. In 2009 I was awarded with a Master's in Education Curriculum and Instruction from Peru State College with an Instructional Technology emphasis. Currently I teach Government, American History, Current Events, and Economics. Hiawatha High School is a fun and exciting place to teach! Many students remark that it is rare to see me without a smile on my face. I particularly enjoy discussing current events and political issues with students. Occasionally I instruct students in spelling skills, especially my last name. I inform my students that it stands for He Always Makes People Learn.
