Sixth Graders Go Bowling

After a jam packed year of learning and successful efforts on the reading, math, and social studies state tests, the sixth graders were rewarded with a day of bowling. Before they were allowed to enjoy their day of socializing, eating, and bowling, they first had to learn the proper way to keep score while bowling. The students were taught the correct way to record their bowling scores. They then warmed up their bowling technique in the sixth grade hallway as they practiced how to tally their own scores. When the students arrived at the bowling alley, they were able to relax and have a great time enjoying their fellow classmates and games. The following week, the sixth grade teachers presented awards to bowling teams and individuals. The award for the most gutter balls went to Aleksa Kent, and Justin Sprick won the award for the highest score. Congratulations 6th graders for striking out on a great assessment year!
