Hi. I am Lori Flowers. I teach at Hiawatha Elementary School. I have Kindergarten through 2nd grade special education students. We have a large group this year of 21 students. They have a wide range of disabilities and needs that need to be met daily.
I have 5 para educators that help me meet those needs. Inclusion is a important part of my program, as it helps the students stay with their homeroom class for instruction. Then they are able to come to my class if needed for some extra tutoring or re-teaching of the skill.
